Religion: what religion do they practice? What are their rituals?
Most of joper practices nature religion. They have a close connection with the plants and animals of the world. They have a high level of respect for anything thats existance ends and is used to nourish their culture. The killing of an animal is a precious thing. The soul of a fresh kill is taken into the hunter and is believed to make him stronger smarter faster, only when ritually sacraficed. If not killed properly the soul of that being is destined to tourment the hunter for all of his days.  The souls of farmed live stock also go to the farmer yet do not give the strength that a wild beast will bring.
Plant life is also respected. The ritual communicates to whatever crop that is being grown that the farmer will continue to cultivate this crop for generations to come. It is a promise to the crop that they will live on. If not done properly then the crops will grow but bear no fruit or seed. And sickness will fall upon the farmer. Plant life has been known to laugh or cry or warn (if they want to). Big sam is espetially known for his bellowing laugh.
There is no real organized religion. They dont have to go to church or anything of the such. But it is so ingrained early in life that everyone practices the necassary rituals to ensure closeness with nature.
